Prof. Dragan Tomić, MD, PhD, is a specialist in internal medicine, a gastroenterologist and a hepatologist. He spent the major part of his career at the Clinic of Gastroenterology and Hepatology of the Clinical Centre of Serbia. He is one of the founders of the Endoscopic Ultrasonography Cabinet, the Doppler Ultrasonography Cabinet and the Section for Interventional Ultra Sonography at the Clinical Centre of Serbia. He was the Head of Emergency Gastroenterology and Hepatology Ward of the Clinical Centre of Serbia for many years.
Prof. Dragan Tomić has invaluable clinical experience in gastroenterology and hepatology. He is an acknowledged expert in diagnosing and treating liver, pancreas and bile duct diseases as well as in diagnosing intestinal and gastric lesions. He analyses his patients’ complaints very carefully and he performs clinical and ultrasound examinations meticulously and with devotion, he carries out comprehensive analyses of your condition with a view to giving the diagnosis and adequate treatment.

SCIENTIFIC AND RESEARCH WORK
Prof. Tomić is an author and a co-author of 193 research papers. The analysis of his published works and the entire scientific and research engagement points to his considerable clinical experience and wide interest in gastroenterology and hepatology.
Prof. Tomić was a member of the Republic Commission for Medical Technology of the Ministry of Health as well as a member of the Government’s Medicines and Medical Devices Agency, in the Section for Clinical Trials of Medicines. He is now a member of the Commission for Medical Devices of the Medicines and Medical Devices Agency. Prof. Tomić was included in a large number of international clinical studies of innovative drugs for certain significant gastroenterological and hepatological diseases.
