I had pain in the thumbs of both hands and in my right shoulder for several months, and I felt completely drained. I was treated with medication and physical therapy by several physiatrists and rheumatologists, but the pain did not subside.
Then I consulted Professor Damjanov, who examined me and determined that I had swelling and inflammation in both shoulders, as well as skin thickening and inflammation in both hands. After an ultrasound examination and lab tests, the Professor’s suspicion was confirmed — I had an autoimmune disease: vasculitis.
I was prescribed medication, and I soon started feeling much better. I feel like a new person! The inflammation is gone, and the Professor now plans to gradually discontinue my treatment altogether.
