Doctor Mihailo Mićić is an expert for diagnosing and treating diseases of blood vessels (capillaries, arteries and veins in the arms, legs, neck and of the abdominal cavity). He gained his years-long experience and knowledge in (elective and emergent) vascular surgery as well as in conservative (medicamentous) vascular therapy and (non-invasive ultrasound, invasive MDCT angiography) vascular diagnostics by learning from the most acknowledged vascular surgeons in Europe while working at the eminent vascular clinic of the Clinical Centre of Serbia. Alongside this, he also gained the expert level of knowledge in vascular surgery by working at an institution with the greatest number of emergent and elective patients with vascular pathology in the Balkans and beyond – the Clinic for Vascular and Endovascular Surgery of the Clinical Centre of Serbia.
As a result, he is highly skilled in inpatient and outpatient vascular surgery. In that sense, he is expertly and clinically competent in diagnosing and treating comprehensive pathology of arteries and veins as well as of capillaries.
His subspecialities include the following:
– vascular pathology of the blood vessels in the legs (atherosclerotic and aneurysmatic arteries and thrombotic and varicose diseases of the veins)
– vascular pathology of the carotid arteries
– aneurysmal and occlusive disease of the aorta
– venous ulcers.
His field of work also includes the examination and the ultrasound of blood vessels, colour Doppler duplex scan, treatment of the diseases of blood vessels (conservative medicamentous as well as vascular surgical and endovascular treatments).
At Da Medika Polyclinic he performs outpatient vascular surgery, which involves the following:
– taking medical history and a physical examination of vascular patients
– CDS Ultrasound diagnostics.
Doctor Mihailo Mićić graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade, where he also completed postgraduate studies and specialist academic studies, majoring in surgical anatomy, while he is currently attending a postgraduate doctoral programme.
He is employed with the Clinic for Vascular and Endovascular Surgery of the Clinical Centre of Serbia as a specialist in vascular and endovascular surgery. He has participated in numerous congresses and he is the member of national and European associations.
